450-mile voyage across the Baltic Sea from the Danish straits to the Swedish skerries.
Leaving Flensburg bay ‘Shtandart’ will take a course to the east travelling through a busy fairway where you can meet the borders of three countries: Germany, Sweden and Denmark. Then the ship will cross the Baltic Sea with an optional stop at Bornholm island (the exact route will depend on the wind direction). Then, approaching the north coast we will sail via the narrow Kalmarzund strait according to our annual tradition with the necessary stop in Kalmar, a Swedish town with a small castle and beautiful parks.
Between Kalmar and Stockholm there is another distance of 150 miles of the open sea. After we finish this voyage sailing with a favorable wind we will shelter ourselves from the rough sea in narrow and rocky skerries of the Scandinavian Peninsula.
Fairway up to Stockholm is considered to be one of the three most difficult waterways in the Baltic sea so here everyone while working the ship will be able to apply his best sailing practices obtained during the voyage.
