The Tall Ships Races is the unique chance to take part both in great sail festival and in famous regatta.
Moreover, you can join the Shtandart’s team and find yourself inside a real sailing adventure.
Our ship was designed in the age of sail and this fact changes everything. Completely wooden, with authentic sails and rig, Shtandart not fight, but play with waves and wind.
Combine that with young and enthusiastic Shtandart’s crew, and imagine the atmosphere on board.
You can arrive to Riga and enjoy rich program of the celebration, visit sightseeing places, museums and clubs. Then, after traditional sail parade the race will start.
A moment, when tens of ships under full sails at the same time cross the starting line is one of the most exciting.
During 5 days of the race everybody will learn how to steer the ship, set and tune sails. Every day we will see the result of our common work.
Sailing on 1703 frigate you will be carried for centuries ago and live the life of sailors, for whom ship was the only house for years. We will stay watch and have rest together, enjoy sun and fair wind during the day, silence and full of stars sky at night.
And at 3rd of August Szczecin will meet us with orchestra and special program for crew members.
Shtandart’s crew always plays an active role in TSR, and we have “The Best Seamanship” and “Radio Communication” awards.
